Pioneer have just announced their new compact mixer, the 2 channel DJM-450 with built in beat and colour effects and an audio interface  with RekordBox DVS compatibility.

The new DJM450 borrows from the DJM900NXS2 with a high quality Magvel crossfader, sound card and USB effects send and return for iOS effects apps.

The two main channels offer phono and line input, 3 band eq and colour effects control with Dub Echo, Filter, Sweep and Noise effects.

With the beat effects section there’s a new crisp display and the popular legacy effects Delay, Echo, Spiral, Reverb, Trans, Flanger, Pitch and Roll which can be synced to the auto detected BPM.

As with the DJM900NXS2 the effects section has a USB send and return to allow an iOS device with an appropriate effects app to give you an unprecedented  choice of effects to add to adjm450topny source.

With the audio interface you can use two decks to control RekordBox DJ with  time code vinyl, the DJM-450 includes a full RekordBox DJ license and DVS upgrade worth over £200 on their own.

Finally, the build. Its built in typical Pioneer DJ high quality metal casing with balanced XLR output connectors.

The Pioneer DJ DJM-450 will be available in November 2016 priced at £589.
