Scarlett range just got Better. Faster. Easier

Focusrite have just announced the new Scarlett 2nd generation audio interfaces.

These have been a staple studio product for many studios and solo artists alike. The range has stayed the same starting with the single input Scarlett Solo to the massive 18 in and 20 output Scarlett 18i20.

What has changed is the quality, speed and the amount of bundled software you get with each little magic red box.

First the quality: The new Scarlett 2nd gen range has a stunning 24bit / 192 kHz conversion rate, better than before and better than pretty much anything in this class. The build quality has also improved with a new casing and metal control knob.

Then there’s the speed: The latency on this interfaces is the lowest in their class too, offering the fastest ’round trip’ around.

Now the software: Not only do you get the same Ableton Live Lite, Softube plugin and Red Plugin, you now get 2gb of Loopmaster samples and ProTools First – Focusrite edition, the slimmed down version of the top end software bundled with exclusive plugins from Focusrite.

It’s everything you need to get recording out of the box.

Check out the whole range here.
